Winterfest kickoff went off with bang Tuesday starting with the
Salute to Veterans Parade, in honor of the men and women who served our nation through their military service. The parade began at the south end of town and made its way north on the Parkway to Patriot Park. Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner, Many-Bears Grinder, delivered the keynote address.
The Pigeon Forge Community Chorus and James Rogers gave a spectacular patriotic performance before lighting Pigeon Forge’s Winterfest displays. Winterfest continues through February 26th with events including the Trolley Tour of Lights, Wilderness Wildlife Week and Saddle Up.
